Last week was a big one for bigotry and the bigots who profit from it.
The final score: The Oneidas hate the ?Redskins,? Al Sharpton hates Barneys, the Wiccans hate Halloween, and everyone hates Julianne Hough.
Let?s begin with the Redskins and the huge press frenzy created by Oneida Indian casino chief Ray Halbritter, who says the name ?Redskins? is an offense and a civil rights issue.
Well, you may be surprised, or maybe not, to know that some Oneidas swear Michael Kors Website that Halbritter has caused them to have civil rights issues.
New York Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney, who represents Oneida tribal member Melvin Phillips and his family pro bono against Michael Michael Kors Handbags Halbritter in what she called a land-grab situation from ?a much-feared, megalomaniacal, despotic casino kingpin ? who is only one-quarter Indian but not a member of the Six Nations Oneida tribe.?

Oneida Indian casino chief Ray Halbritter says the name 'Redskins' is an offense and a civil rights issue ? while some Oneidas swear Halbritter has caused them civil rights issues himself.
Halbritter?s team has consistently denied all of Tenney?s claims.
But it?s best not to bring it up. Last week Halbritter had Assemblywoman Tenney thrown out of his anti-Redskins press conference for raising the issue.
?Organized crime couldn?t have come up with a better scam than Halbritter?s got going,? Tenney said.
Phillips, who is a full-blooded Oneida, might dislike Halbritter but, ironically, does not dislike the Redskins? name. ?I don?t mind it at all,? he said. ?Next, they?ll even take us off the (old) nickels and no one will know what we Michael Kors Collection did or who we are.?
Speaking of civil rights for fun and profit, no one smells out bigotry and big bucks like the Rev. Al Sharpton, who?s never met a mogul he didn?t like. Michael Kors Sale To this end, last week Sharpton met with possibly the world?s whitest man, embattled Barneys CEO Mark Lee, to discuss Barneys? shop and frisk disaster. Jay Z, disgracefully, was nowhere to be seen.
Just don?t be surprised if Rev. Al ends up with a seat on the Barneys board.

Julianne Hough was branded a racist for dressing up on Halloween as Crazy Eyes from 'Orange is the New Black.'
And how about that Julianne Hough, huh? The ?Dancing With the Stars? alum was branded a racist for dressing up for Halloween as Crazy Eyes, her favorite character from ?Orange is the New Black.? Since Crazy Eyes is black, Hough donned, well, not blackface exactly, more like deep tan-face, and was immediately set upon by the media.
Question: Why is it wrong to make up your face to look darker, but donning a black mask of a famous person like say, President Obama, on Halloween is OK?

Nicki Minaj from her recent guest appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' This was the look DeGeneres was going for ? but she did not look like Minaj.
Ellen DeGeneres, who knows from discrimination, made sure to follow the PC rules when she dressed up as Nicki Minaj on Halloween ? without dark makeup. The end result? Ellen did not look like Minaj. She looked like a scary white hooker.
Finally, even witches complained last week about discrimination. Apparently dressing like a traditional witch on Halloween is a nasty stereotype. Stop stereotyping witches now ? or you might end up being turned into a frog.

U.S. District Court Judge Shira Scheindlin has had her robes ripped to shreds by an appellate court.
SLOP AND FRISK
Stop-and-frisk was thrown into turmoil when an appeals court threw out the judge, but not the case. And the way that the court ripped Judge Shira Scheindlin?s robes into shreds has sent other judges around the city and state reaching for defibrillators.
According to one very top city official who said he?d better remain anonymous or I could find myself in front of a judge: ?In all my years in the legal field, none of us has ever seen an appellate court excoriate another judge in this fashion.?
Scheindlin ? who is not the long-lost twin of Judge Judy ? overstepped her bounds by telling a plaintiff that if he thought he was being racially profiled, he should file a separate, ?related? lawsuit that she would hear and accept. Oops. He did and she did, and then she talked to the media ? an accusation she denies. Sloppy, sloppy.
So what is the bottom line for us? For now, you can be stopped and frisked ? unless you are a woman parading around topless in public. (See what?s off limits on top, below.)

Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx, snubbed Michael Kors Sale this week during the Golden Globe nominations for his leading role in the upcoming slavery-era Michael Kors Sale Handbags revenge fantasy ?Django Unchained? says "every single thing in my life is built around race."
?Django Unchained,? directed by Quentin Tarantino, features Foxx as a freed gun-toting slave on a revenge mission to hunt the men who sold his wife (played by Kerry Washington) to an evil slave owner (played by Leonardo DiCaprio). The movie, scheduled to open Christmas Day, is already generating controversy for its indelicate, and at times campy, treatment of slavery, as well as the amount of times the N word is used (by some counts, the word is used more than 100 times throughout the film).
In an interview in the December-January issue of Vibe, Foxx discussed how race plays into his job as an actor and how the movie is likely to be perceived among different racial communities.
"When Michael Kors On Sale I get home my other Michael Kors Handbags Outlet homies are like how was your day? Well, I only had to be white for at least eight hours today (or) I only had to be white for four hours," Foxx told Vibe. "Everything we do is that. When you're talking about the script, of course it's going to be controversy," he added.
Foxx says he's anticipating some pretty sharp reactions to the movie, especially from the black community.
GOLDEN Michael Kors Shop GLOBES NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED: 'LINCOLN,' 'DJANGO UNCHAINED,' 'ARGO' LEAD THE PACK
"As black folks we're always sensitive," Foxx said. "As a black person it's always racial. I come into this place to do a photo shoot and they got Ritz crackers and cheese ? I'll be like, ain't this a b----. Y'all didn't know black people was coming. What's with all this white s---? By the same token, if there is fried chicken and watermelon I'll say ain't this a b----? So, no matter what we do as black people it's always gonna be that. Every single thing in my life is built around race. I don't necessarily speak it because you can't."
JAMIE FOXX IS THE FAVORITE TO PLAY THE PRESIDENT
The movie, conceptually at least, is not unlike Tarantino's last revenge fantasy, ?Inglourious Basterds,? in which a group of Jewish American soldiers hunt down Nazis. But Foxx is certain ?Django Unchained? will be received differently.
"I told (Tarantino), black people watch a movie different than white folks. When you watch (?Inglourious Basterds?), Jewish people have a more quiet response. [WHISPERS]'I can't believe they did that.' When black people don't like something it's like: [LOUDER]'Ay dawg, why Olivia Pope went down like that. Michael Kors Women That s--- is f----- up.'
"Because there's certain things that we watch as black people that if we don't agree with it, we not only turn off the movie but we turn off that person," Foxx added. "When we feel like the character was compromised by the white establishment."
But despite the controversy, Foxx maintained that it's important for Hollywood to continue to make movies about slavery.
"Every two, three years there is a movie about the Holocaust because they want you to remember and they want you to be reminded of what it was," Foxx said. "When was the last time you seen a movie about slavery?"

One has to admire those committed immigration leaders who, far from being discouraged by Washington?s petty electoral calculations and ? in many cases ? underlying racism, stepped up their efforts to pressure Speaker John Boehner and House Republicans to break out of their zombie-like immobility on immigration reform.
One has to admire them ? and wish them luck ? because as days went by without anything happening in Congress, all signs pointed to a sad reality: Despite the flurry of activity by immigration advocates, religious and business leaders to push Boehner to allow a vote in the House, an immigration reform law ? in any shape or form ? seemed to have as much chance of being passed this year as Republican candidate Joe Lhota has of being elected mayor of New York.
Yet, immigration reform, like the proverbial phoenix, may have risen from the ashes once again now that three House Republicans ? Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Florida), and Jeff Denham and David Valadao, both from California ? have signed on to the Michael Kors Handbags Outlet House Democrats' comprehensive immigration reform bill.
Angela Fernández, the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights executive director, a savvy and Michael Michael Kors Handbags experienced community leader, believes that such a law could become a reality this year.
?The focus is on keeping up the pressure to show that the majority of people in this country want an immigration reform that is humane and reflects the American values of justice and fairness,? Fernández said. ?The civil disobedience action we held yesterday was part of similar activities in Florida, Arizona and across the country.?
RELATED: PASTOR, BISHOP, NUN AMONG 10 ARRESTED AT NYC IMMIGRATION REFORM RALLY
Fernández was referring to an immigration rally held last week outside of the Varick St. immigration detention center in Manhattan to demand that Congress moves on immigration reform. Carrying signs that read ?Speaker Boehner, stop your family separation agenda,? she was arrested with nine other people ? including a bishop, Michael Kors Messenger Bag a nun and a pastor ? after blocking traffic on W. Houston St. They were charged with disorderly conduct.
?These actions are a way to show that this issue is one we will not forget or let go,? Fernández said. And Purses Michael Kors they may have weighed heavily on the decision by the three GOP legislators ? all of them representing districts with large Latino populations ? to abandon the sinking GOP ship and join Democrats in a last-minute effort to approve immigration reform this year.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), and Jeff Denham and David Valadao, both from California ? have signed on to the House Democrats' comprehensive immigration reform bill
But Fernández is also well aware of the human tragedy caused by Obama?s policy of massive deportations.
?Most important of all is stopping deportations,? she said.
Ironically, while Republicans deservedly take the blame for not acting on immigration reform, President Obama has more than earned the title of Deporter in Chief by breaking all records and expelling close to 2 million undocumented immigrants during his tenure. Such cruel practice that has resulted in more than 5,000 U.S.-born children being placed in foster care after their parents were expelled.

Almost incomprehensibly, despite the hard economic times, more taxpayer dollars ($18 billion) were spent last year on immigration enforcement ? that is, in persecuting gardeners, nannies and cooks ? than on all other federal criminal law enforcement agencies combined, although only 10.8% of immigration detainers issued by local law enforcement agencies in the first half of 2103 were for serious public safety or national security threats.
Obama famously issued an executive order to grant Dreamers a temporary Michael Kors Purse legal status, and could do the same to stop needless deportations. Yet, he refuses to do so.
That?s why immigration activists must work not only for Congress to finally pass humane, workable immigration reform this year, Michael Kors Handbags Sale but also for the President to put an end to massive deportations.
?We need to keep pushing,? Fernández said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the podium at the UN General Assembly Thursday and attempted to educate a world that refuses to listen about the Iranian nuclear threat.
He used a visual aid for his teaching: a cartoon bomb that compellingly made clear how close the mad mullahs are to having atomic weaponry.
And, for the first time, he said that by spring or summer Iran would be within weeks or months of possessing all the refined uranium the country would need to build an atomic weapon. This is the red line that he wants the world ? most particularly the United States ? to join in drawing.
Fact by fact, Netanyahu explained to the assembled global leaders why Iran must be stopped by whatever means prove to be necessary.
Expressing truths that should be self-evident, the prime minister made clear that Iran is not just another nation.
He properly placed its theocratic regime on the wrong side of a struggle ?between the modern and medieval,? between governments that believe in progress, human rights and freedom and militant Islamists who welcome death and seek to obliterate a people.
In an apt parallel, Netanyahu said that the Iranian leadership is the governmental equivalent of the world?s most reviled terror group:
?Militant Islam has many branches ? from the rulers of Iran with their Revolutionary Guards to Beats Studio Headphones Cheap Al Qaeda terrorists to the radical cells lurking in every part of Cheap Beats Headphones the globe,? he said, adding:
?Despite their differences, they are all rooted in the same bitter soil of intolerance. That intolerance is directed first at their fellow Muslims, and then to Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, secular people, anyone who doesn?t submit to their unforgiving creed.?
The connection between Al Qaeda?s death-loving ideology and that of the ayatollahs in Tehran is one that some, including the Obama administration, are shy to make. But it is all too real and it proves the folly of believing that Iran would act rationally with a nuclear weapon.
Netanyahu quoted chilling words once uttered by former Iranian President Akbar Rafsanjani:
?The use of even one nuclear bomb inside Israel will destroy everything, however it would only harm the Islamic world. . . It is not irrational to contemplate such an eventuality.?
Netanyahu?s cartoon of a bomb showed lines corresponding to the three stages of uranium enrichment Iran needs for a weapon. Based on the findings of the International Atomic Energy Administration, Iran has produced the low grade uranium that composes 70% of a weapon and is well on the way to having enough more potent uranium to hit the 90% mark, after which it is a short dash to completion.
Out came the red marker, and the simple question: Where to draw a red line? Netanyahu put the spot at a point before Iran reaches the 90% Beats For Sale Online threshold. By his calculation the mark is only six to nine months or so away.
After that, should his calendar hold, Netanyahu?s message Beats For Sale was that he would Beats Headphones For Cheap have a duty to strike for Israel?s self-preservation. And the plea behind his address was that the civilized Buy Beats For Cheap world should join in acting on the crisis at hand. It must.
